My first thought is split to pied because he doesn't have white flights. Thoretta does have a small throat latch Kathy

Kathy, I think it's so amazing that you can get your peafowl into the house and onto a scale. Never thought that was possible 'til I saw your peas.

Do they actually stand still while you weigh them, or do they move around and squirm?

All of my 2011, 2012 and 2013 birds will stand still and a couple of the 2009 hens will, too, but the 2009 boys are too heavy for that scale, so I don't try with them.

Kathy, Zaz,Dylansmom,,,your all in time out until you tell yourself enough times that the bird in the thread being asked about is a hen.Regardless of what god's intentions are,you are looking at a hen,,forget the barring on the wings,,it's a hen.Forget the mating calls to come,it's a hen.Forget the full train in maybe 2 more years,it's still a hen.I know how to sex peafowl!! (where have we heard that be4?)

OMG! I've never been in Time Out before! I feel positively delinquent. Anyway, "It's a hen" "It's a hen" "It's a hen" "It's a hen", how long did you say I had to do this? "It's a hen" "It's a hen" "It's a hen" "It's a hen"
