Its a new incubator so im assuming so. In future i will definitely have another hygrometer running inside too so i can check for accuracy

Is it a still air or forced air incubator?

Yes that's a forced air. I think it's good as far as temps and all go. I'll double-check some other threads to be sure.

Mine was the same I tied it with cotton and it dropped off perfect after couple of days

Sorry didn't see the yolk sac thing mine had no yolk sack.just the cord that I tied. Good luck anyway
