Please please please help me this time! I don't know what is wrong

Would teramycin or duramycin forget the actual spelling work? I used that for a previous problem with respitory problems.

Sounds like respiratory infection.
Most likely caused by wet bedding and/or poor ventilation.
I prefer not to dose them if really not too bad, but it seems it's past thinking about it.
You need to do it now.
If there is a TSC, or Agway, get some water soluable antibiotics.
Read the package, make sure it is for respiratory infections.
Good luck.
I keep my waterers outside the coop, or maybe, keep them on top of a piece of wood.
Or have something under them to catch the drips, like a pan?
I will subscribe to this thread to follow up.

Well do to weather I can't keep them outside. I keep them in and as I have mentioned taken care of the wet bedding problem. The meds I have I was told were for respirtory and used once and it appeared to have worked. As soon as someone tells me weather it will work or not I will go out and medicate them. The meds I have are duramycin.

Right now I'd stick to the antibiotics for a respiratory illness.

As for no one helping... trust me, no one is intentionally ignoring you. later in the afternoon and early evenings in the US are the best times to get help. Most of us have jobs, school, children, etc. and don't just sit here waiting for questions. Your best route is to post your question, and do a search using only a few keywords - like "respiratory" "wheezing" - not long drawn out descriptions. You'll have to sift through the results, but you should be able to find some answers.

After you're done with antibiotics - if you want to look at a worming schedule, look for posts from dawg53. He's the guru and gives great advice. Go to his post and do a search using the keywords "worming" "schedule".

Good luck! and be patient!

So what would be a good antibiotic? Would the one mentioned earlier in the thread work?

I am sorry, but I posted the same problem a few weeks ago and 1 person replied and well he wasn't helpful. And now its just getting worse. It just gets extremely frustrating when you can do nothing for your pets.

What kind of weather have you got to keep them locked up?
Chickens have lived for thousands of years without us keeping them inside.
Where do you live?

Okay thanks. And they aren't locked up...they have access to the outdoors in a pen. They don't get to freerange much since we have a fox, but try to let them out most nights when they are able to be supervised. And thanks I will go put that in the water now as I have some. I meant I can't keep the water outside lol sorry for confusion

Sounds like you need to take care of Mr. fox and his family

Thank you everyone! Got meds and electrolyes in water. I know we cannot eat their eggs, but can the chickens eat the eggs?
