Hope mom and dad don't let anyone near the baby that might be sick. People should really stay away from visiting babies if they don't feel good. Parents should not have to ask people if they are well or not. I had to do that with my dd because the doctor said she did not need to be around anyone with even a sniffle after she was born. She had some problems and had to be readmitted the next day after we came home. She just turned 2 this past summer. My dh did not want to ask his family if they were well or not before they came over, I said do it or I will call them back and ask. Sounds mean, but I wanted to protect my baby. I was the one staying in the hospital with her all hooked up to tubes. So tiny to be going through that. Only my dh, my dad and my MIL came to see us. No one else from dh family. they did not see how she looked so helpless.
