Heck yeah to that!!! My daughter was like "aren't you glad now that I got you so many?" Uuuum NO now that is more I have to part with after all the hard work I put in raising them!Ah yes, the usual case is that the males have the larger/wider combs at a young age.
But of course, sometimes past generation cross breeding and such can alter combs and growth rates.
Why are Silkies so difficult. It'd be so much easier if they were born with male and female rings on their legs
