I love them so much! I'm sure I've read that they are a pretty rare breed.

Your silkie is beautiful btw.

I’d say your silkie by the last pic looks cocky and stands with good posture like a roo. Hens are more lazy in their posture.

His/her comb is pretty big.
Does he/her have a rose comb?
If so if he/her has three rows on the comb it is a roo for sure.
