wow is great he is eatting like a trooper!!! Definately watch the salt is he still eatting the steel oats? also if you have yogurt or some cottage cheese just watch the salt !!! I think you might be right he probably was giving his girl most of the food.. if you still have some chick starter or grower would be great! keep up the G R E A T work

I just popped on! And im glad to see that he is doing better and that the swelling has gone down, and that there seems to be no massive infection that needed major lancing!!!

Thank you everyone. Today was a remarkable day for Petey! During the course of it, the swelling in peteys eye has almost completely gone down. With no damage! I made him an egg this evening and he scarfed it down like a good Petey. Here he is tonight with a big beautiful eye and a VERY full crop!
