I'm super anxious, and not for nothing, I have a lot riding on this.

Most folks in Jersey don't get it, its all a bunch of banter and waste of time according to them. But see here's the deal, I've dealt with every predator (aside from the Jersey cougar, lol) that is in the area. So far I've been lucky (knock on wood) and the girls are happy, healthy, and full of feed.

My BO's are 16 weeks, heads etc. are starting to redden. I just have to know, what the heck do they look like right when things start happening??????? Please show pictures!!

I appreciate your help, Jon

I don't have a pic to post but yours will start laying soon! Patience! They are 16 weeks old and getting red in the face, it won't be long! And trust me, Buff Orp's are very good layers, once they kick in and start laying you will most certainly be able to show off all those great, fresh eggs to those naysayer folks!

Plus you can tell them how good those fresh eggs are compared to the old eggs they are getting from the store that have been sitting around for who knows how long!
