Please, show me your ducks

I think this is a Cayuga hen (too much white for an adult though?) and a blue Swedish/welsh harlequin drake. However both were from a barnyard mix hatch someone else did.

Out of curiosity, is there a chance she’s a black swedish?

I did see you mentioned the breeder thought she could be an Ancona mix, but she does look very similar to a Swedish!

I’m pretty sure the breeder did not have black Swedish. It wasn’t mentioned as a possibility.

The bill color, feet color, and bib shape are all giveaways that it’s not a real Black Swede. The Swede-like appearance is actually really common in mixed ducks, though

Ahhh, good to know! I’m still learning the feet and bill colors, it’s so hard to keep track So many similar looking ducks that are distinguished from the feet/bill hahaha

Sorry for not answering earlier... and thank you very much to all of you!!

Here’s a recent photo of 2 of my Blue Swedish. They are 5 months old. They have the white wing feathers you were mentioning!

Yes... I would buy Swedish ducks if I knew where to find them...!

I actually had to search for and look at pictures of Swedish ducklings to be sure my black bibbed, white winged Runner ducklings looked the same... so they really could have (a chance to have) white feathers on theirs wings once adults...
(But I still will have to wait and see...!)

My Rouen drake, and Khaki Campbell hen.

Cute drake : Rouen are amazing because they look so much like big Mallards...

Bur you Khaki Campbell hen... God : this breed is just one of the most beautiful, in my opinion...
The so rich brown feathers, and their overall appearance...

...I am trying to get some Khaki Campbell ducks myself : I have put eggs I bought online underneath a broody hen, and the wait is just terrible...
I hope the eggs will hatch, and if so, the Khaki Campbell ducklings I get from them will purebred, and grow up to be as beautiful than your hen!

The breeds that I think are in the mix (based on what the owners of the original breeding stock told me): Cayuga, Khaki Campbell, Silver Appleyard. Maybe Swedish. But I’m not sure where he could have got the Buff gene from? I’m very new to duck genetics

I would vote for a Silver Appleyard mix, since he has the eyestrips...

She is young, so I could be mistaken... but in my opinion, your hen kind of look like a Khaki Campbell.
So, maybe the Buff gene comes from a Khaki Campbell parent?
(I don't know if Khaki Campbell have a Buff gene : I am no expert on genetics...)

You're most welcome! The Welshies are a bit smaller, and the Buffs and Swedish are bigger. They're weight is not to the SOP because they're from a hatchery.

I don't plan to add a drake, since I free range them with my chickens I couldn't do that if I had a drake.
I ordered all females and got that, I'm so surprised and glad because I have bad luck with that sort of thing!

Most Black Swedes, or Swedes in general that I’ve seen will have grey bills, not quite black. Drakes may have full-yellow bills. Their feet will be like your Blue Swedes; orange, black, and splotchy.
Many will also have white around their eyes, white around their bills, and white flight feathers. Bibs will be solid for the most part, though some can look a little patchy.

It does get quite tricky, though. The Blue Swede-presenting duck I posted has no Swede that I know of in her genes. I know her background, but even if I didn’t, I can tell she’s 100% mixed due to the fact she has brown plumage splattered all over her
