Please show me your hot weather coops

Pics
I'd love people to post more! I'm moving to GA and while I will have ample shade with trees, I'm looking for an airy coop. I was thinking of making mine with pallets but then rather than closing of the spacing I would just cover the whole thing in hardware cloth. I do worry about them getting wet in windy/wet weather so maybe make sure two sides are solid? Also there can be a few cold night so need to think about how I would battle that.

any ideas are welcome.

Not near as nice and fancy as Tad's, but it does the job. Since we live in the desert, we built a 3 sided coop under shade trees and made the run secure. The chickens have access to the run 24/7.

I was going to recommend a dog kennel coop, but you provided the picture for me!

HI, I'm from Australia our temps here range from 0 to 40 degrees centigrade which could be about 100f I thought I'd gotten off lightly when we moved into a house that was already equipped with coop and run but soon discovered life on the farm would not be that easy.we lost two to coccidiosis it was recommended that i move them so with minimal help from my darling who vowed he would not help as he sees no point in keeping animals when we can buy eggs at the shop (iSee many but he is not an animal person)
i have so far constructed thier new run from old sheets of corrugated iron and fencing supplies we found here and brought from our old place but cleaned out and repainted the existing coop, for now but i intend to build them a new one when i have some money ad time but to get to the point the design i think i will use will be a basic rectangular shaped frame covered with wire one fixed wall for nesting boxes and a door for cleaning and 3 walls that are hinged at the top and can be pulled out and propped open to provide shade and ventilation in one step im hoping this design will also keep out the rain i can not add any photos or drawings as at the moment it is all in my head but maybe someone can understand my explanation

We used this as a brooder, but it also very comfortably houses 3 banties. Also have an A-Frame, will have to search for picture. We are located just north of Tampa, FL. Mostly humid, winters do drop below freezing somewhat often but certainly does not linger. We also have another dresser, with similar concept. Since these pictures were taken they have further evolved. We now use hardware cloth religiously. They are protected from the elements from the roof of a shed. Will update pictures and post them tomorrow.

Same Concept. Needs to be laid on its back for more floor space.

Lots of ideas! Thanks for posting all your coop pics, both recent and long ago.

I live in East Texas. Lots of hot days here, but we do have a few below freezing. I'm in the process of building my coop now and will post pics here once it's finished.
