Please show me your no-waste feeders.

double bowling mine works well too for me. However, the only time I put out feed 24/7 is when I am going to be gone for several days. The rest of the time, I feed enough for the day. If I have feed left over, I feed less. If it is bare I feed more the next day.

That's a great idea and I try to do the same. It puts a crimp in the style of the nighttime mice marauders although my 5 barn cats have put a dent in that too.

Does the lower bowl stop the feeder from swinging?

Yes, the lip of the metal hanging feeder is just inside the lip of the lower tub. It bumps the edges of the tub a bit when they are messing with it but it never gets dislodged. Once a day I just dump the spillage in the tub back into the feeder. I do not find wasted feed in the surrounding shavings.
