Please stay home when sick

my karate teacher has put up signs saying not to come to class if you aren't feeling well. why would anyone go to karate class if they are sick? and he bought hospital grade hand sanitizer.

Our school decided this year not to do perfect attendence awards. They felt it was rewarding people for sending their kids to school sick. I've caught more bugs from people who have used their sick time playing and then come to work with the virus of the month. Stay the heck at home. If your work is that important, someone will find a way to get it done.

That's just crazy, so they are supposed to do what then? I would definitely be speaking with the superintendant, that is ridiculous.

My dad thinks I'm silly because I kept my son home from school today. He is staying home again tomorrow. He only has an upper respiratory infection, but one day last week there were 5 kids in his class out from being sick. So I'm thinking he'll either go there and infect other kids, or pick something worse up since he is already sick. Once he stops hacking like he's gonna die, then I'll send him back

Please, when you talk to the manager, remind him of the company's POLICY. It is not her fault that she HAS to go to work when she's sick.

I've got no problem with a company wanting the note, as long as they pay for the visit. Otherwise, bad enough to lose out on a day or two of pay without the additional expense of the doctor's visit.

I have diabetes and am recovering from surgery. I wasn't able to get the flu shot this year because of the surgery. Now I'm worried that somebody will come to work sick or some moron will take their sick kid out some place where I can get exposed to the flu. I wish people were more responsible. It's not just because employers give a guilt trip or because people don't get paid time off. Often it's because people would rather save up their days off to do something fun. I have known people like that.

People that come to work sick, send their kids to school sick or toodle around the grocery store with a sick kid in the cart are just selfish people.

My work gives you points for missing work, even if its with a Dr notes, we even get points for family funerals. We had a guy off work who was in the hospital and he pointed out and was fired.

We have all been sick and wish I didnt have to go to work, but if I dont go, I get points and if you get enough points then you get fired. We have been keeping the boy home tho, he dont get points from school for staaying home sick.
