Thang "feels the LOVE" generated here.He now thinks a shrine is in order and is demanding outrageous things for this winter and next spring.He insists on a heated roost and more hens to add to his lonely harem of 2. I think tomorrow nights feeding requires me to take along the pressure cooker and let ole Thang take a long gander at it so he remembers his place within Pea Palace and the food chain.
Forgot to add,,this weekend will involve a Thang catching.He's being relocated for the winter up to the front pen again along with about 20 or so more peas.That should be very interesting.

Oh Thang. I say you give him a bunch of "extra" random hens in with him, see what else kinda crazies he can make.

The two "purpley" ones are getting just a hint of a shine in their neck feathers. They have no barring so I don't think they're males, but they are BEAUTIFUL. And Wiley, the white one, is a trouble maker. He's always up at the top of the barrier that's SUPPOSED to keep the little guys to a confined, safe, area, but he flies right on up and perches up there. He never goes over to the other side, just up to the top. Little booger.

New2,you find someone that will design that sculpture with an opening in the bottom to slide over a 4"x4" square post and I'll personally dig the hole,buy the post and surround with concrete and put inside of Thangs pen next spring.Maybe we could mount a camera with a live internet feed so all of the Thang groupies can check in daily and see him? Make it pay per view?
