Here is my 4 week old Buff Orpington Butterscotch who is showing roo-ish signs. Has anyone had a BO who looked like this at 4 weeks and then went on to lay eggs and cackle? I fear this will be a repeat of the old Blaine (cute roo EE) from my last flock.
Thank you.

I am guessing roo too, them there legs look quite thick in the last picture.

hope it's a girl for you though. it's always a bummer when your favorite girls turn into boys

Thank you all for your help in posting photos and in sexing dear little Butterscotch. Unhappy news to hear he is a boy, but it helps that you understand how I feel.

I have two Cuckoo Marans, age 5 1/2 weeks, Butterscotch and Goldie, 4 week old BO's, and Marshmallow and Peep, Delawares age 4 weeks. Total flock is 6 little birds. Since I will have to rehome darling little Butterscotch as soon as he crows, is it too late to add other babies to the flock, if I can find some around the same age?
