Please tell me how long my backyard chickens will live?

I’ve read so many things about lifespans. I have two red comets who are about almost 4 yrs and a red sex link who is 10 mos. My red girls haven’t laid in three-four months and it was sparingly when they did. They always stop laying each winter for months at a time. (Diet has lots of protein!) I don’t care if they ever lay again. They’re my pets and I love them and they can live out their non-stressful life being happy in my backyard. I know lifespans can vary widely, but what’s a good general rule?

My youngest chickens are 5 years old! My oldest will be 10 next month. I lost a couple over the years for unknown reasons, those girls were about 3 - 4 years old. I’ve heard that some chickens live into their teens

I guess your not going to get a good average here either. The numbers are all over the place.
Is there anyone on here that has raised varied types of chicken for years, 30 plus years, not 10 years and under?
I'd like to know what too expect too and there is a big difference between 7 and 20 years.
