At that age, still a cockeral, soon to be a rooster. (one year) Definitely an Easter Egger, very handsome. Try rehoming on Craig's List or the BSA area of BYC.
Yes, I cannot have a rooster in my area. She/He is my favorite and I'm upset that I will have to find him/her a new home. My husband thinks she is a rooster because he heard her crow today. I am still in denial. Should I give it another month just to be sure? Here are pics of the tail feathers that look a lot like my ameracauna hen.
Thanks everyone. Makes me even more sad that its an easter egger (love those).
No, you don't need another month. It's a definite male. Saddle feathers tell the tale, as well as that HUGE honking comb on that boy at such a young age. You have an Easter Egger cockerel.

Haha, way to pass on the chicken math to new members EweSheep. That's totally how I ended up with 3 more than I intended!
and I'm sorry Bobbi16, but the writing is on the wall for your EE, he's 2000% male. He's got the large comb, the thick legs, the upright posture, the red leakage on the wing bow, the large red 3 row comb...etc. You're actually lucky he hasn't crowed yet.
The good news is that you can re-home him on Craigslist. I've had brilliant luck with doing that with my roos.
