Plymouth Blue Rock/ Sapphire Gem??

Hi all! We brought home 4 chicks last Friday from Family Farm and Home that were all supposed to be Plymouth Blue Rocks (aka Sapphire Gems). Over the last few days one is looking quite different from the other 3, with a lot of white in it’s wing feathers. Is this just a normal variation for this hybrid or was there a mix up? If a mix up, any idea of what she is??

It's hard to tell at her age. Wait until she grows in more of her feathers.

Normal variation. A lot of solid black (and blue is just modified black) breeds have this. It almost always moults out.

Chicks moult pretty frequently when they're young. The old feathers fall out, and new ones replace them. The white feathers will likely be replaced by black feathers.
