We're headed to a chicken auction this weekend to pick up some more birds. I think I'd like to add some more Barred Plymouth Rocks as they seem like they'd fit our needs well.
Would a Milles Fleur (Belgian) or two be a good option for a broody hen or can barred rocks be broody enough on their own if we also get a rooster? Would another breed be better?
