hello, I am hoping someone can help me out. I have one Plymouth Rock chick and am wondering what gender people think. The baby hatched on September 20th

Thanks for the reply, I have added another photo, side view.

Suspicious for cockerel due to tail feathers extending and downward position. See link to tell. If male will have more white in barring, be bigger with bigger combs/wattles and saddle feathers extending down and pointed. Of course crowing the most definitive but that can take awhile. May take up to 17 weeks to tell for sure.

Thanks for the replies again. Was hoping for a pullet, can’t always get what we want

I would wait for final decisions because still not completely sure. The carriage, comb, and wattle reminds me of Pullet as cockerels are more upright but wait to tell to see how combs, wattles, and feathers grow out. I think it is just too soon to tell. Maybe the tail is the choice of posture at the time if perks up then female. If tail grows up and down male.
