Here's our broody Moody, lol. Sorry, couldn't resist. Miss Moody has been sitting on her eggs for about 2 weeks now.

We had a BR roo, Fred, but a hawk took the poor thing.

Anyways, here's Moody.

Oh, such beautiful birds you all have! I can't wait for my little BR to get her "big girl" feathers in! They'll be 2 weeks old on Monday or Tuesday (I got them from the feed store on delivery day on Wednesday)!

And I must say, thank somebody my blood blister on my finger finally healed! My little BR kept pecking at it and she was really trying to tear it off! She was really hurting me! The 2 SLW's with her left it alone completely, lol.

I have a question for you all tho, I ordered 5 BR's with my chicks and its beyond me where they are can you all see any BR in this pictures?

I don't see any... Did you get a packing slip with the order? Maybe they subbed in something else?

They aren't the black ones with the yellow bellies?

If there is no head spot, there aren't any BRs.

The 5 dark ones (not yellow) all look like my little Wyandottes (I got 2 SLWs), but I'm no expertat picking out chicks either, lol...I am better at telling the RIRs apart from the BR & Wyandottes they had at the feed store than the employee working there though.

See I knew I wasn't loosing my mind, the guy on the phone insisted there were sent, because the packing slip only stated, the Delawares were not shipped.
Some bad rooster or fertility thing none of them hatched I guess, but still there is no BR in this batch I sent them pictures......argggggg
So do any of you guys know what the yellow chicks with the gray saddle or gray face are? could they be Wyandottes maybe the silver ones? I did order assorted Wyandottes, but the dark speckled ones there is only 3, so something else must be them other 2 ??TY Much Kim
