Glad you have such a nice attitude toward it! And you can start a thread in the "What Breed or Gender" thread in a few weeks to get some answers.I have two Partridge Plymouth Rock babies, and at this point, I'm starting to think they are both Roos. They along with 4 others will be a week old tomorrow, and the 2 Plymouth's are the biggest and most aggressive out of the 16 I have. I'm not sure how to tell the sex at this age, so I guess it's a waiting game. They are cute as can be, just not as friendly as the others and definitely bigger and more aggressive as I said. I still have my fingers crossed that at least one of them is a pullet.![]()
Congrats!!!! They are really fun!I'm a new chick owner.....I bought these 10 "Barred Rock" chicks....They are almost three weeks old now.....only 2 weeks old in the picture.....![]()
I'm in the process of renovating the back part of my old red shed for their coop...There is plenty of room to grow as the coop is 12 x 10...When the snow is gone, I'll begin on their run.....We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground..I'm hoping to move the little ladies into the coop in the next week or so.....
