Plymouth Rock thread!

Afternoon all....its been a while since pix, but here are a few shots of my Columbian Plymouth Rocks (LF) at about 4 1/2 months old, taken today. This is the first group I hatched back in January. I have another 30-40 +/- on the ground who are younger

They are growing like crazy!! Taking it easy in the shade today....way too hot here (expecting 98F)

yay for Columbia Rocks! I have six, month-old girls. Trying to get them used to being handled. They come running when they see me because they know I provide food, but they hate being picked up.

Ok...Columbian Rock pix yesterday, BR pictures today. The BRs are 7-8 weeks old and are from Reece and Hardy bloodlines. Notice these are definitely SOUTHERN birds as they are all fighting over scraps of ribs on the bones I had leftover from lunch.

Yard full o' rocks :

Where did you get yours? Are they bantams or large fowl?

Thanks

They're gonna be big, big ladies.
I live in the province of Ontario, in Canada. They came from a farming couple down the road from me, who originally got them from some hatchery...I have no clue which one. Would you like me to find out? Though, as an American, the info might be useless to you...

I was just curious. I have a trio that I started from that were from Dick Nieuwlands flock from up there in Canada somewhere. I have a bunch on the ground here now and will be breeding from them, but thank you all the same
