Plymouth Rock thread!

Wow, there are some really nice Rocks on here. As a future wannabe breeder, I think I shall be making a trip to the States.

Here are mine I purchased from a lady in SK. They are from an exhibition rooster over production hens.

Quality can be measured many ways! If she is a good layer and a sweet bird, then she is a quality bird. A lot of people would prefer her to a show bird that meets the SOP, but does not lay very well and has zero personality! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your chicken!! .....stan

True, but when you have it all in one bird . . . then you have something unique.

hey all i'm pretty much new to chickens so far i have 2 mutts i guess and was interersted in gettin a few plymouth rocks. does anyone know a good place to get some from. Thanks.

Craigs list sometimes works... Or you can order from an online hatchery. It really just depends what area you are from. Do you want to get pullets, chicks, or hatching eggs?

Lovely birds, Flicker Chick!
