I love watching them. She is number 8 broody and it never gets old. I just wait and only give them the eggs I want to hatch. These babies are going to be part of a Olive Egger project. It is funny to see their little heads sticking out everywhere, she has 12 babies, its a lot for one mommy.

They look good, Ben. The pullet in the back especially looks like a chunkster, nice gravy bowl shape. The males in this line seem to take so darn long to grow into their huge legs. Rex looked so gangly for so long, I was beginning to wonder if he'd ever fill out, but he sure did. Unfortunately, he was bitten by a poisonous snake while on range and Scott's vet couldn't save him. Did you know they cannot get antivenin/antivenom for animals? I wasn't aware of that. Your cockerel has his dad's regal head.

I am so sorry

Just wanted to show the ENORMOUS GSBR roo. He is with a Blue Rock, that has to go (she has barring and white ear lobes
hu.gif
they were hatching eggs I traded for)... she is a laying pullet.

That pen is about 2 feet tall and 4 x 4. That is not a prospective thing, he is REALLY THAT BIG

Here they are in a smaller pen before I moved them today.

She is hiding under his tail LOL. He is nice and wide too.

Just for size comparison this is a FULL GROWN Blue Copper Marans Roo. Same size pen about the same distance from the camera.
