Plymouth Rocks or Buff Orpingtons

I would get the buff orpingtons myself. I have 4 of them,and 3 of them are daily layers !

one is every other day(hmmmm)? but they are mellow,and quiet chickens for the most part. except when they lay an egg. then the whole flock erupts with cackle....

I have a neighbor who has one red,and she is really mean !! so ive never really wanted one because of hers....

ive never had a broody problem with BO's....but have with my white leghorns however.

Since this is a 5 year old thread, I'd guess the original poster has likely figured things out, I don't know.

Buff Orpingtons

They are so sweet and very nice.

Plymouth Rocks are very nice looking.

Still I choose the Buffs Orpingtons.

I'd go for the barred rocks. So far, they are the best breed I have had
