I use a Palm Treo but I don't pay extra for the internet on it. It might sound funny, but I really don't want to look at such a tiny screen when I'm on the net. I have computers at home, at work and a laptop for when I am in-between or out of town.

I love the phone for all of the other features...It syncs with my Microsoft Outlook so I always have access to all of my contact phone numbers that are in my computer in addition to all of my calendar information. It also has a full keyboard which allows me to text message more easily and keep track of the kids. It helps to keep my work life and personal life organized! My phone model doesn't have a camera on it, because it just isn't that important to me. I love having tools that help me to manage my busy life. I just don't see a phone as being an entertainment hub the way that some people do. My phone would have been pretty expensive had I gotten it new through my carrier, Verizon. Instead, I bought it on Ebay as a factory refurbished model and it wasn't priced too badly.

I don't view my phone as a status symbol, but I know many people who do and "upgrade" every year. I finally upgraded to a Treo because I was carrying a largish phone that dropped calls and a separate Palm Pilot device. It was a struggle to carry all of that stuff in my purse and still have room for the other essentials. Now, I have all of the same features (and a few more) in one device.
