Polish babies with 4 month old Silkies

I am a newbie here! Got four silkies about 4 months ago. I believe I have 3 hens and 1 roo (but obviously cant be sure, but I am 99% sure). We got 3 polish hens today. My question is, what is the best way to integrate the polish hens with the silkies and when should I do it? The chicks are in a brooder right now (obviously).

Welcome to BYC! Polish and silkies (in my experience) work together pretty well. Silkies don’t mind being high up in the pecking order, and they’ll form their own little group. Polish are also docile when put with other breeds (not silkies), so they won’t hurt the others.
