Before. As far as I can tell from the beak tip her head is in about the same position.

That's a huge improvement. She can see!!

Usually my husband holds the chicken and I do the trimming because they do fight a bit, though after each trim they are getting better about it, probably realising it's a good thing.

I was holding and my mom was trimming. She said, "it's not even!" I told her the chicken didn't care.
