hmm. i'm, trying to figure out what they are. they are gorgous and i'd love to have eggs for them but i'm trying to figure out where i could put them in my breeding program or how i'd do a pen for them. your price is very reasonable for eggs also for what beauties they will hatch!!!
since he has 3 toes that usually means they are a cross. he looks polish but his face looks more sultan to me. polish have 4 toes and sultans 5, no feathers on feet or hawks, no muffs or beard he can't be sultan although certain features resemble it. after studying his pic many times i think he is a cross of a buff laced polish and a red pyle old english game. it would explain his unique color and pattern, the white tail and shape of tail and the lack of the full polish beak. polish can grow the horns like the sultans also although mine have never had them that big.
reguardless he is gorgous and would be awesome to figure out his heritage to know what would make such a beautiful bird. i wonder what him mixed with an old english millie fluer would throw??? it may just make darn near a tolbunt if worked through a good breeding program for several years, that would be awesome to try!!
i won't need eggs till closer to march but i will put you on my list of wanted breeds for sure. by then i'll have sorted through my flock to see who i part with and have coops rearanged so i know if more need built for any new kinds. if i can swing it i'd like to get a few dozen eggs from ya around then.
thanks so much and the baby pics are adorable!!
