Ok, here are two 15 weekers I am starting to question. I ordered all pullets from Meyer hatchery, but I am wondering about these two...

Ok, sorry about this one. I was holding the chicken with one hand and trying to get the pic with the other. Wanted to show the wattles...

They both have tiny nubs of a V comb starting, but so do a bunch of others that really look like girls!

Those two are the most forward though. The blue one ran up behind me when I turned my back the other day which I thought was odd...

Boy or girl? Any clues?

I think your good to go with pullets at this point if they are almost 3 months old. I don't see anything in those wattles that would make me think rooster. And some hens get small v combs.

Oh forgot the aggressive hen thing....I have one that acts like a bully, she will even try to raise what hackles she has and has very roo like behavior. I thought it was because she was the only pullet in a group of young males, but maybe it is just dominate behaviour of the head hen?????

Girls, girls, girls!
I think you'd KNOW if they were roos. My Polish are 13 weeks tomorrow. The two boys were crowing at 10-11 weeks.
I'm jealous. I am trying to adopt out roosters, right now.

They both look like pullets to me. Both of them have rounded top hats, it they were cockerals, their top hats would be spikier. They're gorgeous girls too!

Well, mostly they are pets. I've always wanted chickens! We also eat a LOT of eggs, and we manage to tick off our neighbors on a regular basis somehow, so having extra "goodwill eggs" to give away is a good thing.

Eggs, pets, lawn ornaments in that order, I guess.

Maybe someday I will get a roo and hatch, but I want to get my feet wet with the girls first!

They all look like girls to me!! I think that is they were roos, they would have red wattles?? I only have 1 WCB polish and she is about the same age...looks the same!!

Actually the hens can have red wattles also! I was so surprised. Thats what makes it so difficult to tell, but the roos tend to be a lot larger and heavier, when you pick them up ,than the hens.
