Polish hen laying!

Of course because I said that, one of the Polish gals gifted me with a nice little white egg today. I was just out in the coop giving out treats and there it was on the floor. I said I'd dance, so here I go!

Thank you. Hubby looked at me like I had lost my mind. A basket with 12 eggs from the other girls, and I'm dancing over one more.

The Polish we had years back were okay layers - I'd say we got about 3-4 eggs a week from each of them.....definitely not our "go to" hens for eggs, but they contributed.

My polish hens are just here for their looks and personalities. Eggs from them are a bonus.
