I agree this one looks like an Appenzeller not a Polish! Soo pretty!i think a pullet , but i think it is a spitzhauben (appenzeller spitzhauben is a breed of chicken)

Well we were lucky twice, we have two of these. I hope they are girls so we can keep them! So far, they look like the same sex. They sure are stunning and fairly friendly too.Looking towards appenzeller spitzhauben.....but you are lucky they are rare and beautiful![]()

6-7 weeks old is kind of young to tell on Spitzhaubens. I think you might have 1 of each. One of the first signs you will see on a Spitz cockerel is the wattles getting pink. The fact that I can already see the wattles on the one at the right, at this age, makes me suspect cockerel. But wait until closer to 13 or 14 weeks.Well we were lucky twice, we have two of these.
