I just found a polish chicken and i don't know how to determined if it's a boy or girl. It is probably 1 month to 4 months. I Have 3 hens and she is like half there size even smaller. I dont know how to tell. I think it might be a rooster but I'm probably paranoid. I think I see where it's spurs are about to grow but I don't know. It has a little sliver of waffles. But they are to New to know the color. Are there like signs to know.

Sickle feathers are long, pointy, and shiny. They grow on a roosters rump. Here is a pic of a cockerel I had to give away. His sickle are very prominent.

I hope this helps!

The feathers on a Polish rooster's crest are long and pointy; those of a hen are blunt, with rounded ends. The way I like to put it is, a hen has a 'fro, and a rooster has dreds.

Polish hens also have small bumps where it seems spurs would grow, but IME, they didn't.

Your bird looks like a pullet/hen to me.
