Polish pullet died; I found yellow spots on her liver and would appreciate any insight.

My 6-month old polish pullet died this morning after battling some health issue. About 3 weeks ago I had noticed that she kept opening her beak, and she would make squeaky dog toy noises (her eyes and nostrils were clear from discharge so I didn’t suspect a respiratory issue). She would shake her head around a lot and kick around whenever she made these noises. She also had some small white spots inside her mouth, and had an issue with her crop emptying overnight. My vet prescribed Ketoconozole for what he suspected was candidiasis. I kept my girl indoors and gave her a partial pill twice a day as suggested by the vet. I would massage her crop several times a day, and I would hand feed her because she wouldn’t eat on her own. Two weeks later and the issue still had not resolved, so my vet told me to continue with the medication, and he had no clue what the continued squeaky noises were from, so he pretty much wished me luck in helping my girl to recover. Unfortunately, she passed away this morning. She was emaciated from her not eating on her own, and despite my efforts in hand feeding her. I decided to take a look inside her, and everything seemed normal except these yellow spots on her liver. Here are some pics if anyone could provide any insight as to what I am dealing with. Thank you. This is how her poops would look like too. They were a watery yellow with some brown in it.
