This is a great recipe. Thanks soo much for sharing. I had never done pickles before, and these were easy and pain free. We had company the other night and went through 2 jars very quickly.
 
Old thread but great recipe. I've used it for a couple of years. Someone asked about making pickled eggs with this. After we finish a jar of pickles, I fill the jar with boiled eggs. They are really good.
I am not comfortable leaving the jars out at room temp for three days so I put the jars in the frig after 12-24 hours. It always works for us.
 
i just tried this. used smaller jars so it was kind of tough to get the brine and spices in lol we shall see. i imagine being boiled together the flavor should be there right?
