I have never shipped or had any birds shipped to me. I can't believe they can survive a few days in a box with no food and water. I know people do but I'm too scared to try. Your birds are beautiful Josh.

Although it is often recommended not to, people most often ship their birds with fruit in the box to eat. That way they can eat something that also contains a decent amount of water content in it.

The thing is, one shouldn't legally ship birds without being NPIP certified

Love the rumpless Polish. It does happen randomly in breeds though. I myself have a rumpless Coro Split Sussex I purchased from a breeder. She knew I'd love it.

Me and my rumpless chickens. . .

Pretty girl, but I see about 4 repeat photos of the same pose that honestly doesn't show much. I'd love to see her standing normally.

HAHA....see I know they look the same they're slightly different. She's a bit demented wouldn't stand for the life of me I'll get one tomorrow. I mean I've had polish before but this one takes the cake...really an odd one. But thank you I think she's pretty .....she came from a hatchery.

From her pose, she appears scared. Is she flighty? Stiff when you handle her? I find about 1/4 Polish from hatcheries are often flighty, skittish, or just don't like people. But I also find some very, very friendly ones too. I have one hen from McMurray of all hatcheries who's unbeatable among all the poultry I've had in friendliness and calm behavior.

Thats where Tina is from is McMurray....she is actually easily handled...but she's a bit flighty I think simply because she can't see worth a darn....I thought for a while she was a male because her crest was so large.

can someone tell me if im right about the sex of my polish chicks, their picture is on page 285 number 2850, i think chick 1 and 3 are males and chick 2 a female
