Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're welcome! It seems to be working wonders. She's walking forwards now, and steady enough to move to the brooder.

Another wobbly one just hatched. I'm watching it closely, just in case.

Thank you for the recipe! I'm going to make sure I have everything on hand. Did your remaining eggs hatch?

We just helped the last one out. It's neck is too wobby, it couldn't zip. Hopefully it does well. Final count is 5/5 SL Polish, and 7/8 Tolbunts. And one funky looking Polish/Marans that the broody had booted out of the nest.

I'm happy with the hatch, but exhausted.

So my baby came this week! She seems to have something wrong with her toes, but she won't tolerate any sort of booties I've attempted and they don't seem to bother her. She is quite fiesty and a hopper/climber...though she is also the snuggliest of the new chicks we got.

Like it or not fix those toes. It will pay off in her adulthood.

I have a weird question
My black 6 week old polish pullet is acting strange like she's seizing out here's what going on i let them outside a week ago and a couple days ago i noticed that when she sleeps she tucks her head under her leaders and stands and the others sit and have there heads out and when she fly she goes head first and when she lands she wobbles around and then she's fine she still scratches at the ground eats drinks and all that it peeps and all it's just weird?

Have you cut a little piece of cardboard and electrical taped her toes down to it in the correct position? I've heard that works pretty well. Worth a shot, or she won't be able to roost as an adult. And she is more likely to injure her toes if they stay this way.
