Daffodil is lovely Right now I would say 90% she is a girl. A few more weeks just to be sure.

Soooooo.....my 2 new bantam polish girls got here yesterday...they are apparently 3mths old. They are huge!!! Also one of them has 5 **** toes....I guess we know where the size comes from then don't we...the joys...people are scheming things sometimes. So very cranky right now

I can't even keep mine alive!

i have bought 6 polish this year, and only 1 has survived. 2 died of failure to thrive. And 3 came from a private breeder who had sick chickens. They all died one day 5 and 6.

They are probably half mottled houdan. I got three from a breeder that are Polish/Houdan and all have extra toes. Of course, I was in a different position, since the breeder TOLD me they were half houdan, lol! They are all bigger than regular Polish, and are super sweet. They may turn out very nice, but still...people should say what the chickens are :'( I tell everyone who buys from me if they're crossed with anything, but I usually don't cross.

My polish rooster seems to be a bit fiesty lately toward me. Any suggestions on calming him down? He is too pretty to get rid of!..
