Really???? I wouldn't show. Your rooster looks like a silver spangled appenzeller.

i was told he was a polish .. that was my whole reason for buying the polish hen

Yep b/c I have an appenzeller chick my hen is raising right now.

That's what I was thinking. He maybe a cross bred.

That's not a polish color that I've seen. It's not silver laced as there's no lacing pattern (a white feather with a black stripe around the edge).
It looks more like a mottled houdan but I don't see 5 toes. The rooster looks like a mixed-breed.

Totally not an expert though!
