@Kyexotics, did I already ask you if you sold eggs from the GLs? I thought I did but wanted to double check before I go down the unwanted road..

You did LOL we don't...The market for GL is ridiculous right now, I could sell 100 of them if I could produce that many...Heck, I've had people call and tell me they couldn't even order any for the rest of the year, I checked it out and it's true, the hatcheries are sold out for the year(except for males in some cases)...Forget the goose, the polish are truly laying "golden" eggs right now! LOL

Lol..that is about the truth of it.. I wanted to double check bc I would have felt real stupid if you had asked in a few days why I didn't just buy yours..lol.. regular math is not my strong point, chicken math kicks my butt

My polish pullet is getting bigger! 8 weeks old today

She is so pretty! And I still don't have a name for her... Do you guys have any ideas? Here are mine. Vote

Wow!  Perhaps I should hang on to the GL chicks that I have.  Won't hubby be thrilled.  

Tell him they are your future money makers..tell him you have the first 3 dozen eggs sold already to the highest bidder...lol..and then you name your price. .it's that bad..I kick myself every single day for giving mine away..and I can get those eggs but there's only 1 stinking hen and I want like 18-24 eggs...why oh why do Polish have to be so dang cute..

Fancy..only because that is my favorite mare's name..she's huge,built like a tank, and knows she's the $hyt. .

He rolled his eyes and went outside. I explained that in chicken math they do not count. If it doesn't lay an egg around here, I don't count it. Last fall I technically had 42 birds, but only 2 counted with chicken math. The rest were molting, pullets, or roos I was growing. I told him the 2 layers were lonely, and he looked like he might cry. Poor long suffering man.
