Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes for show purposes. I wrote more above. I cant get a picture to post right now. But when I return I will show you the results of plucking.

Okay!!! I do not show birds so that's why I have never heard of it.

So here is my white crested black polish "fluffy". I have been hoping and praying this is a pullet but these waddles have me worried..... But no comb and Rounder head feathers keeps me holding on ...

The crest looks pullet for sure. Nice and tight and round. I have a young pullet....I think.... lol she has wattles and no comb. But she is a bantam and those are just a lot harder from what I heard to sex. And she is 3 months old so...

I would say cockerel for sure. All my young cockerels start out with a small and tight crest that begins to get stringy at around 4 months (I think) . They get their waddles in about half the time as the pullets do. By 6 months the pullets barely have waddles and the cockerels already have their waddles full grown.
I in fact have several white bantam polish cockerels right now that I suspected were cockerels, and the deal was sealed last week when their strings began popping out.

mine are only months old and can tell one is a roo for sure because he already has his stringy feathers and the other I think is a pullet based on the tightness of the crest. They are siblings.
