After I received my first polish pullet, I purchased another pullet and a polish roo from the same breeder. All three placed in the tulsa state Fair. Here's a pic of "Pepe' "my polish roo

I got my golden laced polish hen as a chick this spring it's currently December and I till have no eggs

Can you post a pic?
Some are not known to be prolific egg layers they can be sporadical layers. Also if your in winter lack of daylight may slow them down in getting the egg laying machine up and running.

Yes sorry that was a bit of a bizarre post! :gig

Polish only average about 120 eggs per year. Some polish are not good layers at all, it can all depend on the individual bird. When there are not as many daylight hours egg laying can decrease or stop all together in older hens. For pullets this could mean they take a little longer to begin laying their eggs.
Right now non of my polish are laying eggs.

You don't need your lights on 24/7. Having them on all the time means your hens don't rest enough. They need some dark to sleep like we do. They only need 14 hours of daylight per day. Adding the extra light in a morning is best for them and then they can go to roost/bed of an evening.

Oh man! Hahahahaha!!! Polish are so hard to sex unless you just know for sure!

Update on this problem @rossfam06 The 2 smooth have been squatting, one is looking redder in the wattle department the other not. The 2 frizzle are not red at all but are not squatting. I've not heard any crowing at all since that morning. I'm still at a loss on what to think of this :idunno
