Wow, she is gorgeous! You are really tempting me to get more Polish. My precious Margo (gold laced pullet) disappeared a couple of weeks ago . She had a huge crest, that blocked her vision and was always walking into objects and following me around. My guess is that either she got lost or a fox got her.

Half Golden laced polish, half silver laced wyandotte. All beautiful.
I have to dig up a picture of my golden-laced; she is the silliest chicken. Always running into things and getting lost. She loves sitting on logs instead of going back to the coop, so I have to find her almost every night and put her back inside. Oh well.

Does anyone have any tips on getting your polish onto the roost every night? Mine go into their hen house but try to roost on the edge of the nesting boxes instead of on the roosting bars..

Sorry, I can't help. For some reason, mine have decided that they prefer to roost in the shed instead of the coop all the sudden. Seems like every night, I'm carrying those brats back to the coop. They know their way in and out and used to go in on their own every night. Now they just don't unless I put them on the ramp.

Cooler place? Ours will sit on outside perches when it's hot. I like it because I get to carry and kiss each goodnight!

I'd love to breed some. This one is really friendly!

It came from the farm store, I think they use Ideal.

Looks like a black crested white female to me! We have them!
