If it has a extra toe and speckled legs it's a houdan polish have silver legs that would help u know if it's a cross ..

Since it is too late to do feather growing comparison for gender Id look at leg size (girth).

Also personality tells a lot. Watch for head rises with sudden environmental change in males. Females seem to keep their heads pulled in. Aggressiveness regarding food also can indicate gender, males being more aggressive and pushing out the females who are easier to bully.

If you can get better crest pics so i can see the tips of the deters in it I can tell you.
