Polish Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y'know now that Im lookin, g, I would have to agree, this one looks pretty girly.

dont hold your breath though XD

Polish have strange ways.
Oh not holding my breath at all, got 11 chicks all together, only 3 straight run, I am positive that I have at least 2 roosters, one of the polish is highly suspect and one more of the "pullets" is also highly suspect.....odds at least are in this ones favor but honestly, I am not too concerned. It would almost be easier at this point if she is a rooster so that all 3 bantams would be roosters and able to be in their own pen.

So its been a while since i've post but since its now spring i thought i'd share this, about a week ago one of my black polish hens disappeared for a while without me knowing, she wouldnt be out roosting with the others, and so when i was in my barn i saw a lil' head poking out behind some old chick feed bags and saw it was Barbra are polish hen! and with her was nine of her eggs and a whole lotta feathers! she just came out now and went outside for a few minutes then went back in the barn to take a dust bath, her she is enjoying herself

Do you have a roo so that she's gone broody -- or is that just her special laying nestbox?

i've tried moving her but she chose the one spot so were going to let her stay in our barn, and the ony reason i'm letting her hatch the eggs is because i've got another broody hen in cause she decides to stop brooding half way into it

Will the hatched eggs be purebred Polish or will they be mixed breed offspring?
