poll: are you legal or an outlaw?

We are outlaw with 3x the city limit

The funny thing is that we only have 6 girls, the neighborhood is full of chickens: even the college kids next door have a small a-frame with a young polish and duck in it... don't know if they plan to keep them but I hope they do!

Legal now, because we got rid of all our chickens. We live on 1.7 acres, zoned agricultural, outside city limits, in Prince William county Virginia. The county has an agricultural heritage, but no love of fowl. Chickens are illegal here unless your property is zoned agricultural AND has principal use of agricultural. Having a house on the property automatically makes the principal use "residential" and no chickens allowed. There's an exception for horses - they're ok on 2 or more acres - on 100 acres you could have 99 horses. But not 1 chicken. And no domesticated rabbits either!
