Yes, some of the chickens dont because they all look alike. LOL!

We have friends who also have critters, family, and neighbors, so things are covered, in duplicate. We do the same for them, and it works out. We no longer have cattle, so just horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. Downsizing!

We have been upsizing! Lol. We got a pig 2 goats and a whole bunch of cornish x.

With 19 chickens, 7 ducks, a cockatiel, a lovebird, and 3 fish combined with my gardens and trust issues it is best that I tend things here myself.

Edited because SOMEHOW I left out the 5 big dogs.

Same here, we go on our 4th of July vacation to our cabin every year but that is really it.

One year we did board our two dogs, as nobody was available to manage them at home.

We used to go on vacation a lot because of my husbands work but we choose animals instead. lol

Does it get really cold in Michigan?

Yes, I go on vacation. I have a farm sitter visit twice daily and security cameras that I can access via phone on 24 hours a day. Not to mention the house has a security system armed while we are away.
