That is basically what happens to me! The tears fall and I feel sad, or not, but no sobbing. Hope no one sends me a too-sweet hallmark card for Christmas or I may drip all over it.

Ah well, back in the old days...

...we had to wait until the baby was born to know the gender.

The poll is currently totally even!

It's been a looooong time since I had my child (38 years actually), but I was way teary, craved ice cream and greasy tacos, and I dreamed her... which is, apparently, not that uncommon, so I was not surprised to have a girl.

YayChicks, my step mom has been dreaming that I am having a girl. I have been having dreams about outrunning zombie hordes and something about a tiger in my back yard..

Bird sitter- I cried when Ralph tried to sacrifice himself smashing the Menthos to make the mountain explode.

I had an ultrasound on Nov. 26th and was around 16 weeks and 1 day along by the baby's measurements. My baby likes to move around a lot and I thought I seen something so I asked and she said it was to early to tell. About the time she finished her sentence the baby turned with the perfect butt and wide leg view and we seen a turtle head. She thinks it is a boy but can't say for sure cause it was still early and did say it could be the cord. She said some babies show up earlier than others. Usually by the 18th-20th week you can tell unless the baby hides its goods.

I go back in on the 10th for another ultrasound and hopefully to confirm that it is a boy. We are pretty sure it is but I've been holding back on buying anything just incase.

My baby's BPM have been around 160-164. Everyone thought I was having a girl by the BPM. He (or she) was around 6 inches long from head to butt. I thought that was pretty big since I've been reading online for 16 weeks that the baby is on average 4 1/2 inches.

So far with my pregnancy I've had mild morning sickness that went away around 12 weeks. Never threw up from it. Just had that sick feeling but felt better while eating. During the morning sickness I couldn't stand sweets. They just tasted to strong to me. Now I crave sweets but some stuff is still to sweet. I usually have oily skin that likes to break out but it hasn't been as bad. I've only got a slight belly. It is getting bigger but not all that fast. I've had some stomach acid but within the last two weeks I've had it terrible along with running to the bathroom every 1-2 hours. I'm wondering if part of that is from the baby kicking. I've only had one time that I broke down crying and didn't even know what it was over. My husband blamed my hormones on it.

I'm going to guess you're having a boy.

I hope your ultrasound goes well and you get a good view. I'd suggest looking at some pictures online of boys and girls to know what you're looking for. That helped me out. I didn't see the three lines anywhere to indicate that it was a girl. Don't take your eyes away from the screen. Sometimes you only get that split second. My baby only turned into that view for 5 seconds.
