I suppose we have a better infrastructure thats cycle friendly. Cars are not the city’s best friends with their pollution and taking up much space.nothing worse than being stuck behind a couple of cyclists taking up half the lane doing 18 mph. i wish they’d all get off the roads.
Our climate is milder. Most winters we only have one week with snow or ice. The municipalities usually clear the main roads , bus lanes and cycle paths within one morning. The state takes care of the highways asap.nope. when the roads are covered in snow i generally stay home and then charter a flight to warmer climates as soon as i can drive to the airfield

sounds like you do. i lived in NYC for a long time and found cyclists just as irritating there as i do now that i live in a more rural suburb.I suppose we have a better infrastructure thats cycle friendly. Cars are not the city’s best friends with their pollution and taking up much space.
our winters are pretty rough, but they do a really good job of snow removal. like you said, it’s uncommon to be stuck inside for much more than the morning after a snowstorm. Our climate is milder.
