OK OK OK just wondering, since you're all discussing this, how exactly DO you pronounce Cochin??? I've always wondered that. I've always been saying it like, "COE-CHIN"

Does the "ch" in "chin" really make a "shh" or "s" sound???

I've also thought that maybe it was pronounced lole, "CAW-CHIN" (instead of an "O" sound in "Co", I thought it may be more of a "Caw" sound that the "co" made?)
